Poultry Manure + Compost blends natural manure and compost into a rich, gentle feed you can trust. Worked through your beds, it sets your soil up to grow. A natural source of nitrogen, it feeds your plants while improving soil structure and aeration. It also helps your soil hold moisture and encourages earthworm activity for healthier, more productive beds.
Suitable for trees, vegetables, flowers and garden beds, Poultry Manure + Compost builds long-term soil fertility so your whole garden can grow better, season after season.
Natural nitrogen for leafy growth.
Dig through application
- After removing weeds, apply a 50 mm layer of Poultry Manure + Compost over the top of your soil.
- Dig in well to a depth of at least 150 mm.
- For best results, leave for approximately 7 days prior to planting.
Top up application
- Spread Poultry Manure + Compost evenly over the surface of your raised bed to a depth of 75 mm, keeping it about 50 mm clear of plant stems and trunks.
- Water in slowly, taking care not to wash the compost over the edge of the bed.
- For best results, mulch on top with a soil-improving mulch like The Garden Family Sugar Cane Mulch and water in. This will keep feeding the bed for months.
