Black Chip Mulch is ideal for any garden space to insulate against extremes of temperature and suppress weeds while breaking down slowly. It has been coloured with ingredients which are safe for use around plants, children and pets.

1. Remove all existing weeds from area to be mulched and water the prepared soil.
2. If you are using Black Chip Mulch for the first time, you’ll need to spread an even layer to a depth of 50mm.
3. If you are re-mulching existing areas, spread an even layer to a depth of 25-50 mm.
4. Ensure the mulch does not contact the trunk and stems of your plants.
5. Once spread, water in Black Chip Mulch to improve water retention.
