It helps lock in moisture to keep soil hydrated between waterings, insulates roots through hot summers and cold winters, and suppresses weeds before they get the chance to take hold.
With its fresh natural timber tone, it adds a finishing touch that gives your garden that just-landscaped look, without the landscaper price tag.
How to use
- Remove all existing weeds from the area to be mulched and water the prepared soil.
- If using Hardwood Mulch for the first time, spread an even layer to a depth of 50 mm.
- When re-mulching existing areas, spread an even layer to a depth of 25 – 50 mm.
- Ensure the mulch does not contact the trunks and stems of plants.
- Once spread, water in the Hardwood Mulch to help improve water penetration.
