Pot Revival is a concentrated potting mix booster designed to refresh tired potting mix, restoring feed, structure and water-holding capacity without the need for complete repotting.

Old potting mix doesn’t have to be thrown away. Over time, mix slumps in the pot, runs out of feed, and starts to repel water.
Pot Revival refreshes tired, spent potting mix so you can revive pots without starting over. Use it to top up slumped pots or mix through old potting mix at repotting time.
With a two-stage controlled-release fertiliser, Pot Revival feeds quickly and continues feeding for up to 9 months. A wetting agent helps restore water absorption, even moisture movement and nutrient uptake.
Made with RP HydroGroTM, composted bark and coir, Pot Revival is suitable for indoor and outdoor pots, planters and tubs, across a wide range of common potting mixes and plants.
Top up application
- Pour Pot Revival evenly across the surface of slumped or tired potting mix in an existing pot. Fill to within 2 cm of the rim.
- Lightly scratch Pot Revival into the top layer of the existing mix using a small garden fork or gloved hand.
- Water in well and continue watering as required based on plant type and season.
Mix through application
- Gently remove the plant and tip the old mix into a bucket or onto a tarp.
- Blend 1 part Pot Revival into 2 parts old mix. Return the blended mix and plant to the pot, topping up to within 2 cm of the rim.
- Water in well and continue watering as required based on plant type and season.
When to repot instead
A full repot into fresh potting mix may be a better option if:
- Roots are circling the base of the pot or growing through drainage holes.
- There are signs of soil-borne disease such as persistent wilting, rot at the base or unusual discolouration that has not responded to treatment.
- A soil pest infestation is present.
