We carefully collect the leaves of the sugar cane plant, evenly chop them and then extract any dust using fine filters. The result is a more productive garden that retains moisture, suppresses weeds and feeds your soil as it breaks down naturally.

1. Remove all existing weeds from area to be mulched and water the prepared soil.
2. If you are using Sugar Cane Mulch for the first time, you’ll need to spread an even layer to a depth of 50mm.
3. If you are re-mulching existing areas, you’ll need to spread an even layer to a depth of 25mm.
4. Plants grow better when you leave a little space between your mulch and the trunk or stems of your plants.
5. The Garden Family Sugar Cane Mulch is packaged dry. Simply add water after spreading to improve moisture retention
   and protect the soil from the elements.
